This was one of the better movies I've seen this year. Although it differed in small details from the book, I felt that it stayed very true to the spirit of the original story. 10/10 on the cinematography - the bird's eye views were especially stunning. Another part I greatly enjoyed was the musical score. Patrick Doyle has crafted songs that perfectly fit the mood and enhance the movie so subtly, it's hard to notice. The soundtrack by itself is wonderful listening! The most impressive part for me, however, was the fact that Hercule Poirot was played by none other than the director. How's that for multitasking?
