This book is all about creating maintainable habits. Habits of mind, attitude, and action. The method is to go small. Ask small questions, address small problems, take small steps. So small as to be practically imperceptible. So small that accomplishing them is the easiest thing possible. So small that we have no resistance to them. Small enough to continue indefinitely, then ever so gradually add to them in the same way. With patience and persistence, natural continuous improvement results. Becomes habitual. Because the changes are so small and easy that they become integrated into who we are and what we do. I only just finished a quick read of this short book and haven't tried implementing the ideas yet, but they very definitely make sense to me. It's an easy enough read that I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone, to at least consider the approach and maybe even try a small thing or two. The examples range from personal to relational to workplace and business, and can be applied to many aspects of life.
