Interesting read. Having watched the shows helped with picturing what he was talking about. I like his take on Europe, exploring the history but also the current culture.

As a physical book, it is really well put together. Thick pages and full colour photos. Makes it almost heavy.

I've been waiting for the library to get this book, and from the snippets on Rick's blog, it should be a highly entertaining read. Now that the book is in, I'm #4 on the wait list, and drooling over what he's promised.
