Thank U, Next, is filled with songs about the recovery process. Ariana sings about heartbreak and then how she's ready to end up in a new relationship. I was filled with indescribable emotions after listening to each song. My favourite song is Bloodline which is extremely high energy and a song that makes you want to scream the lyrics. I loved this album and would recommend it to those who want to feel like they're at the top of the world, which the song 7 Rings embody. My main takeaway from this album is that it's okay to feel down in the dumps, but it's important to move on and know you're worth it. @Mr.Balance of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library

Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande is the very emotionally moving fifth album from the highly successful pop star. It features twelve tracks that each hold special meaning starting from “imagine” and ending with “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored”. Ariana tells the story about moving on throughout the album and the struggles she faced in her personal and public life. Thank U, Next is by far my favourite album she’s made because of the new sound she’s found for herself; it focuses less on pop hits and more on inspiring records with dark undertones. The album was released six months after her Grammy award winning album “sweetener” and features no collaborations. Thank U, Next was produced by Social House’s Michael Foster (also known as Mikey) and Charles Anderson (also known as Scootie), Thomas Brown (also known as TBHits), Brian Malik Baptiste, ILYA, Max Martin, Young Deon, Andrew Wansel, Happy Perez, JProof and Savan Kotecha. Grande has said that the album was made by accident (her and her friends made tracks that helped her through a dark time in her life that all got added into one album); I believe this makes it even more special and enjoyable to listen to. Overall, I would give the album 5/5 stars! It’s incredible!

Thank U, Next by Ariana Grande is one of my favourite albums from 2019, hands down. In my opinion, this is Ariana Grande’s best album of all time. Not only does this record have great and upbeat pop songs, it has many emotional and slow songs as well, such as Needy and In My Head. I would say that the best song on the album is Bad Idea. The chorus is very catchy and the song itself is very happy and you can certainly dance to it because it is fast-paced. Also, I kind of like the fact that there aren’t really any collaborations on this album. I think it was nice to hear Ariana Grande solo on her tracks because her voice is very powerful and other artists may have taken away from that. I would rate this album a solid 5/5!

Although I love Sweetener, Thank U, Next is by far my favourite album Ariana Grande has ever released. I love all the songs especially Needy, and 7 Rings. I loved them so much that I even went to her concert. It was really good!
