I was so challenged with the presentation of biblical justice and how the Church should be viewing mass incarceration. We need to stop looking at this through any partisan lenses and start seeing this situation through the lens of Justice. Mr. Gilliard not only makes the case for change but also presents the Church with tangible ways of shifting the culture from being punitive to one of being about restorative justice.
