June 18, 2012....I read 1/2 this book in one day, I have to say I am enjoying it even more than the Hunger Games. Not any dull parts, reads just like a non-fiction. Interesting to read this along side of John Taylor Gatto's "Weapons of Mass Instruction". Kinda firms up some of his points about how "childish" our children are now, compared to the early days. We really do consume too much, and lose ourselves in the boob tube........June 19, finished it up, enjoyed it right to the end. I wasn't expecting the tragedy, kind of took me by surprise!

This book is sooo riveting. It has such detail you feel as if you are there with the Roses. This historical fiction novel hit my heart to the core.
