Biographies are always open for interpretation and they are impacted by an individuals perception to their own life. It was an interesting read (I have always like biographies because they offer a glimpse into another's life) but it is not the sort of book that the title gives a hint at. It is simply a biography with insights of being plus sized in one person's experience. People I have known read it for the catchy title as being a guide to how to be a fabulous plus sized person but that is not what this is. This is a biography no more no less and if you can take something from it to apply to your own life then it will be worth it for you to read. But this is not a how to. Progress in your self image comes from the person themselves not from any book they read; if that is what you are looking for this title is not for you.
