Add a CommentGeroge Beard and Harold Hutchins are two teens who love pranking others and drawing comic books in their treehouse. One day they get their hands on a hypnotizing device. Thinking its completely fake, they decide to use it on their mean principal as a joke and accidentally make him think he’s a superhero called Captain Underpants. One of the first stories I’ve ever read, this hilarious masterpiece is filled with the most unimaginable events that will tickle your funnybone for hours. The comic book style makes it a very easy read for kids.
Fun to read as an ebook. My favorite part was at the end when they told about how Dav Pilkey started writing the book when he was in grade school.
cool
captain underpants is a very funny book!!!! I give it 5 stars!!!
I love it because it is funny. - Ethan
Loved it! Although if these 2 boys had been my sons or friends of my son I would have been driven crazy, in theory I was amused and thrilled by these adventures. I thought the book was really funny but I probably won't read many of the rest of the series because, after all, they are written for kids. On the other hand, I am still watching Bart Simpson after all these years so maybe I will read them all!
George and Harold always cause mischief, so no wonder Mr. Krupp hates them more than the other kids in their school.
Meet George Beard and Harold Hutchins. Geoge is kid on the left with the tie and the flat top. Harold is the one on the right with the T-shirt and the bad haircut. Remember that now.
George and Harold are best friends. They have a lot in common. For example, their mean, old, principal, Mr. Krupp hated them both. In fact, he hated all the kid's! But he hated Geoge and Harold the most, especially their captain Underpants comics. George and Harold also cause a lot of mischief every day. Like ruining the big football team and hypnotizing Mr. Krupp. But when they ruined the football game, they got busted! The 2 boys begged Mr. Krupp to not send a copy to the football team, so he gave them a BLACKMAIL or else he would sent a copy to the football team!
