Man, I really love these movies. This movie is a solid, well-made sequel that is arguably better than the first. Axel Foley is back in Beverly Hills to solve the attempted murder of Bogomil, and he re-teams with Taggart and Rosewood to find the culprits. I honestly really enjoyed this film, and everything about it was great. The comedy was hilarious, and there are many laugh-out-loud moments, as Eddie Murphy's quick, sharp wit and banter feel so natural, and his bromance with John Ashton and Judge Reinhold's characters is really fun to watch. The action is well-done too, and while there isn't a lot of it, the action sequences that are there are great. I personally liked the story, even though many others say that it's not great. Highly recommend this film, 10/10.

This film has a total '80s cool' vibe to it. Everything from the music to the outfits to the cars and more gives off this rather fun and honestly kind of silly feeling. While the story-line is more or less forgettable, all of Eddie Murphy's funny moments make this absolutely worth watching.

Not as good as the first movie, but still a very funny action/comedy. Eddie Murphy when he was still funny. Good plot and action. Funny dialogue. The comedic timing and chemistry carries over from the first film. Maybe a little dated, but I think still holds up well.

Sexual Content: There is a strip club scene that lasts several minutes. Bare breasts are seen multiple times, and the camera cuts intermittently between the nudity and the other characters in the club. The scene comes about halfway through the film, after Axel and Taggart visit Rosewood's apartment.
