Really emersive and captivating in a disturbing sense ;). I loved how there was the main story and also all those little stories and problems that came with it. The side stories, or “side effects”. Amazing. Like the first book, it was rather slow at first, but really picked up speed until we crashed over the cliff at the end, leaving us rather hanging. Enough to make us need the next book, but not enough to make us cry in anguish like books with huge cliffhangers. Overall, a great read, especially if you love wars and hate and revenge and.....
This is the sequel to Front Lines and is a continuation of the lives of Rio, Rainy, and Frangie. It was amazing!
Confession time. I do a lot of audio books simply because I spend all day looking at a computer, when I get home, I have other things to do for my family before I can sit down and relax, and when I do relax, it isn't usually with a book or screen in front of my face because my eyes are tired. I am mostly an audio book reader as a result. Unfortunately, this book wasn't available in audio format, but I wanted to know what was going to happen so badly that I grabbed the physical book to find out what will happen. I also breezed through it. It was a wonderful sequel, but left me on a cliff hanger. I can't wait for the next book, and can't help but hope it will be audio too!
