Non fiction. Author lives in Boulder, great-grandmother haunts the La Fonda hotel in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She examines how history is understood/interpreted by individuals according to their era, needs, and one's own life experience. Nordhaus seeks to understand & connect with her great grandmother. Good historical explanations and fascinating detail. Loved this one!!
