Simple, easy to read and reference providing enough space for people to choose their own path. Like a lot of other American books, some of the products mentioned here are actually available in Canada, and few of the resources. Which with the internet, is less of a deal than it previously was, but if you're truly being eco, getting something that is available closer to you will be harder if you use this as your only source of information on buying new eco friendly products. Plus, then there's the truth that a printed book just can't keep up with product turnover.

A lot of the suggestions in here were pretty straight forward. If you're already the kind of person who tries to be environmentally responsible without spending a ton of money, you might not get a ton out of it. Still, it made me feel good about some of the things I've already been doing. Sort of a reminder that while babies are terrible for the environment, there are things I can do to lessen the impact.

Great info on the impact and types of both cloth and disposable diapers, and how to care for them.
