In this book Mrs. Clinton marvelously showcases the depth of her experience as a diplomat and political figurehead. As an author the language is a bit dry, but it is intelligent and coherent.

The book goes line by line addressing her work as Secretary of State (primarily) only bringing up her work as Senator and First Lady as anecdotal supplemental reference to support her monologue. I enjoyed some parts thoroughly while others I found boring - and it was almost all dry - but I think it's reasonable to interpret her work in the State Department to match that description. In fact she acknowledges as much in the book.

Overall a good book, but not a world beater. I'm glad it wasn't a political soap box, though toward the end it started to become more of that. The book probably ended only slightly later than it should have.
