Add a CommentI loved the rhyming centipede and the positive spin that Roald uses to portray the insects. This is my first Roald Dahl book and I can understand why he is popular. He tells a great story.
Strange, magical things start happening when James accidentally drops some magic crystals under a withered old peach tree in his mean aunts' yard. A peach at the top of the tree starts to grow, and grow, and grow, and soon, James is off on an amazing adventure with his new friends - a group of giant bugs and insects - all living inside the amazing giant peach. Narrated by Julian Rhind-Tutt, this is one of the best of the new audio book releases of Dahl's work. Recommended for all!
