* Hip, hip, hooray, this story is over-the-top crazy! It's like everyone involved with the production saw that the script reads like a B movie, and instead of fighting to make it serious, they went with the flow and got all out cheeseball with it. There are giant alien crabs! There are cheerleaders! Jamie teaches everyone a Highland jig! What fun!

* Anneke's narration is over-the-top dramatic, to match the tone of the production. I have never heard her sound like this before. I loved it.

* It's difficult to write for four lead characters, but Ian Stuart Black succeeds on this count. Ben, Polly, Jamie, and the Doctor, all have important things to do in the story, and their personalities shine through.

* I like stories that mention style and clothing, so I was particularly happy when Polly got a new haircut and the Doctor got a new hat. I'd love to see this story made into a cartoon, because I wanna see these fashions onscreen.
