Wow, these women are so remarkable, anyone who thinks life is over at 40, 50, etc should read this book. The pioneer woman made me feel like such a spoiled weakling I feel like I should at least go out and plow up my yard, buy some cattle and pigs and quit going to grocery store for food. I had read the book about Isabella Bird's travels, she was just amazing.
You can't make this stuff up! Makes you want to get up and go and do!
