Grand Central Station is one of my favorite places, so reading about the history behind this is really an enjoyable read for me. I've watched a few documentaries on it, there's a great History channel one on GSS that has the same amount of information as this book did. There were a few sections I wished were longer, mostly about the people working there as well as knowing a little more about the changes surrounding the station. Its a good introduction to anyone interested in great architecture, preservation, historical places and just some good old american history.

A must read. Not only the terminal, but a history of the last 100 years n the development in NYC.
