I absolutely cannot wait until I can read more books by this author. I couldn't put this book down for the life of me, I was reading it in the subway, on the train, at the doctors, at home... absolutely thrilling and pulled at my heart all the way.

Cursed was an okay book. It ended up having an X-men feel to it, which was not anticipated from what the inside cover of the book gave. Ember has a tough lot it life but after a while she starts to get pretty annoying. Her self-esteem or lack thereof, is sad. The supporting characters weren't totally fantastic but the story line did continue at a nice pace and the ending is satisfying. The ending left an opening for a sequel if the author feels like it someday but so far nothing has happened with that.

Just could not bring myself to care about the characters. Got about 100 pages in, and gave up. I've read other books by this author that I enjoyed, but not this one.

i thought it was very interesting especially how the main dude falls for the main girl before they have ever really talked but he already knows so much about her and he stays with her so he could help her out. i also like how her sister can bring things to life and after she dies and her sister brings her to life she can kill them.
