This book was the absolute WORST resource for helping a relationship that I have ever read.

When I checked it out, I was unaware that it was a Christian book that constantly talks about how marriage should be based on a couple becoming closer to each other, but most importantly God. I am an atheist so this does not apply to me. However, I chose to keep reading in hopes that it would have good advice.

I had to stop reading in anger about 80% through the book when the author said it is the woman's responsibility as a wife to make sure her husbands sexual needs are met - no matter what. If she is not feeling "up for it" then she should make herself take care of him in some other way. It is her duty.

This type of control and sense of debt does NOT create a healthy marriage. I STRONGLY dissuade anyone from believing anything in this book. Women need to be respected in marriage, not owned.
