and I said oh my, what a marvellous tune, it was the best night never would forget how we moved, the whole place was dressed to the nines, and we were dancing dancing like we're made of starlight
I met bobby on the boardwalk summer of forty-five, picks me up , late one night, out the window, we were seventeen and crazy running wild wild, can't remember what song it was playing when we walked in, the night we snuck into a yacht club party, pretending to be a duchess and a prince, and I said oh my, what a marvellous tune, it was the best night never would forget how we moved, the whole place was dressed to the nines, and we were dancing dancing like we're made of starlight
"America is ruled by this hazy mix of pop-culture, media, and a desperate clueless search for a hybrid identity between an arbitrarily patched up self (for lack of self-knowledge) and a socially acceptable self (that had the potential to prod one into the orbit of the 15 minute fame), it is almost grotesque." -- my Ni-ENFj Aunt

It’s best to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt. Abraham Lincoln
"I knew you were trouble when you walked in, so shame on me now, you blew me to places I've never been, now I'm lying on the cold, hard ground, oh, oh, trouble, trouble!"
—I Knew You Were Trouble, Taylor Swift
"I'll bet you think I earthier moved on or hate you,
cause every time you reach out theres no reply,
I'll bet it never ever occurred to you that I can't say hello to you and risk another good bye"

Add a CommentI didn't initially listen to Red that much when it first came out. I discovered it more recently and regret how I missed it for so many years. Her first true pop album is one of her best thanks to songs like "Holy Ground" and "State of Grace" along with the more well known songs like "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".
It's perhaps Taylor's best CD (although 1989 is pretty awesome too). I especially love I Knew You Were Trouble and 22.
Taylor Swift’s fourth album, Red, was released back in 2012. I remember when the singles were being released and the artist was receiving hate for going in the pop route. However, once the full album was released in late October and I was able to listen to the entire thing, I was mesmerized by the lyrics of each song. Taylor poured her heart and soul into them all, the most standout ones being All Too Well, The Lucky One and The Last Time, in my personal opinion. It is one of the best albums I've ever listened to because of the lyrical content and one of the best albums of that year. 5/5 Stars. @SeraphinaWilliams of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board.
It has been five years since Red was released and I’m still obsessed with this album. In my opinion, Red is one of her best albums. After all, many people argue that this album kick started Taylor Swift’s career. In Red, she experiments with some pop music while still keeping her country roots. Unlike 1989, Red has a more wholesome attitude. The songs featured describe perfectly how people sometimes take simple things in relationships for granted. Taylor Swift works with other talented artists in this album such as Ed Sheeran, in the song Everything Has Changed and Gary Lightbody in the song The Last Time. Red brings out completely different and unique emotions.

Taylor swift is the best person in the world we love you Taylor😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
The songs I like from this CD are state of grace,Red, treacherous, I knew you were trouble, all to we'll, 22, We are never getting back together and stay stay stay. Also holy ground, the lucky one, starlight, everything has changed and every song in the album. She has beautiful songs and a beautiful voice. She is my true idol. I LUV TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Taylor Swift is one heckuva talented lyricist. "Red" will cut right into your heart after a breakup and "Starlight" will make you believe in Prince Charming all over again.
More than half of the songs were bad, partly because of the programming. Not recommended.
Taylor swift is my brother Jeffrey's favourite singer!
