I love the cadence of this book. It’s fun to read and my son loves it. Noni is a kind friend and has flaws. I like that she feels scared but leans in her friends for support and feels safe and secure at the end.

Frisky Noni the Pony loves to gallop and cavort around the farm where she lives with her best friends, Dave Dog and Coco the Cat, and all of the other animals. With clean-lined, simple yet adorable artwork and bouncy, fun-to-read-aloud rhyming couplets, this new offering from Australian Children's Laureate Alison Lester is just right for preschoolers.
