Add a CommentI wish this book had been around when I was young! We grew up poor and my mother unwittingly taught us to be embarrassed that we could only afford used or donated clothes. However, the child in this book is thrilled to wear old clothes as she imagines what the lives and experiences of were of those wore the clothes before her. This book promotes a love of history as well as an underlying theme of ecology. We loved it!
