Every Monkee's song that I ever wanted is on this CD.

After hearing it, I would say that Last Train To Clarksville is my favorite.
It has been played to death, but if you really listen to the music, it is great.

I'm A Believer brings me back to a certain good day at my Grandparents
cabin back in the 60's. Happy times up north at the lake.

My Uncle sang the first line to his wife who was expecting at the time.
It has stuck in my head ever since. I love it.

Now, I would never say that I loved the Monkees' music, but, then again, I wouldn't say that I hated it, either. From a purely nostalgic point of view, I'd say that a good number of the Monkees' songs were actually OK.

Back in the mid-1960's, the Monkees were an incredibly popular, American, teeny-bopper band whose records (believe it or not), actually outsold the Beatles.

During the height of their popularity, the Monkees also starred in their own TV series, which was a light-hearted comedy that regularly showcased their latest hit songs that were playing on the radio.

This CD set contains more than 20 tracks in all, which includes such #1 hits as - I'm A Believer, Last Train To Clarksville, and I'm Not Your Steppin' Stone, to name but a few.

"But all I can hear are those WORDS that never were TRUE, spoken to HELP nobody but YOU. WORDS with lies INSIDE, but small enough to HIDE 'til you're playing was THROUGH."

-Words,
The Monkees
