This has been a good series, however became a bit time worn and lost it's appeal when many of the main actors departed.

My husband and I started watching this show because Tom Baker is in it, and his character is so funny. But we soon became fond of the other characters as well. Now we're addicted to this show.

This series (season) gets its footing a few episodes in, but starts a little clumsily. The new characters take a bit of time to develop along with the new relationships. But it does develop into the same sweet, beautiful, heartfelt, Scottish highlands story that we know and love. Paul steps up into the Laird's shoes and makes them his own. There's on again off again romance, drama, and comedy. And gutwrenchingly beautiful scenery. Totally worth watching, but maybe not quite as satisfying as the previous series.
