Kacey has a sweet, soft voice and even though she's considered "country" the songs are more mainstream, IMO. While all the songs are lovely, they all seem to sound the same to me. Of course, they're a bit different but have the same tempo,…

Really only liked the one song RAINBOW and that was a very good song

"In line with the album's name- it feels like something that should be listen to as the sun sets. It's bittersweet yet warm; happy and sad at the same time. Even if you're not traditionally a fan of country music, still give this one a…

There is no denying that this is one talented performer, she has a knack for writing catchy pop songs, and she performs and sings them very well. I enjoyed this release for its pop sensibility, so how does she fit into the country music…

Golden Hour is a country and country pop album with a great beat. It won 4 Grammy's at the 61st Grammy Awards including Album of the Year and Best County. It also won the ACMA Album of the year.

Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour is a country-pop or pop-country (your pick), melodic masterpiece. Each creatively written song is composed and produced with a fun, quirky, eloquent flair which may delight and entertain listeners; each song is…

There aren't many albums I can listen to without skipping a song but this album is just marvelous. Kacey Musgraves has a gorgeous voice. If you think you don't like country music, give this a try.

As a person who is a major Hip Hop head I don't normally listen to Country music but I have to say Kacey Musgraves 'Golden Hour' was a really solid album. It was in heavy rotation for me last Winter and also into the New Year. Can't say…

Very good country-pop album, overall -- "Slow Burn" is quel beautiful and "Space Cowboy" and "Rainbow" are not far behind. If you enjoy any kind of popular music, do yourself a favor and listen to this album at least once.

Golden Hour is one of those albums that is pretty good the first time you listen to it. You latch onto "Slow Burn" and "High Horse," but as you keep listening your favorite song changes. One week it's "Space Cowboy," the next it's "Wonder…

Kasey Musgraves is the new voice in female country artists and this particular album was nominated for Album of the Year as well as Best Country Album. The album is mellow and sweet, but it didn't really sound like country music to me. It…

I don't like much contemporary country, but I like this. If "Space Cowboy" isn't your jam, it should be.

Seriously one of the best releases of the year. Musgraves never has and probably never will follow the Nashville rules, and we get the benefits. In former days, "Slow Burn" would become a recognized classic, along with the album as a…

There is enough genre-specific familiarity on this record to call it "pop country", but honestly that would be doing it a disservice. There are so many tasteful production and songwriting decisions on this record that set it apart from…

An early contender for my record of the year, Kacey Musgraves's lyrically inventive GOLDEN HOUR showcases her trademark sense of the bittersweet. "Butterflies," "Space Cowboy," and "Velvet Elvis" are my favorites, but there's not a bad…

When creatives become happy, they often lose their bite. Such is the case here. Very few up tempo tunes with amazing lyrics leads to a pleasant but boring album. Great for her but too bad for me. I’ll stick to the previous 2 “wonderfun”…

Kacey releases records, and this one is no exception. Contains stellar songwriting, disco-strings and beats, and, 70's vocals, and one of the best country tunes of the last five years in "Space Cowboy." Highly recommended.

A calm and relaxing country album. The song "Space Cowboy" is one of the best new songs I have heard this year.

"Texas is hot, I can be cold. Grandma cried when I pierced my nose." A more diverse sound palette from Musgraves. Including at least two instant classics in "Slow Burn" and "Space Cowboy," and the perfect country-disco hybrid track we…

You can hear her country roots, but this album has lots of pop, disco, synth influences as well. I saw her perform at the Fox and she's as genuinely adorable as her lyrics. (“If you’re ever gonna find a silver lining... it’s gotta be a…
