Fun, a bit like Warehouse 13 meets Eureka. Perhaps a little 'off the wall' but that makes it all the more fun.

1.5* Found this series silly. Could not get into it.

Great TV sci-fi/fantasy series like Voyagers, Quantum Leap, etc. Drama, action, comedy, some romance, and made for all ages. Shame it was cancelled after only 4 seasons. But at least they are on dvd, as well as the movies preceding the…

If you like the movies of the same name then you will like this series. This series takes place after the movies and you do not have to have seen them to enjoy this series. Basically this introduces a group of librarians that were not…

Fun series - a bit quirky, a bit self-mocking. It would be a fun way to introduce people to many of the foundational myths of Western society (maze of the minotaur; Camelot and Excalibur; the Apple of Discord that launched the Trojan…

very well done tv show the actors were great in the librarians. The magic parts have decent effects, the science fair was good and the male actors have lots of fancy talents. will recommend to watch.

I did not care for the Librarian movies, but I found the series to be quite enjoyable.

Too lofty for its own good. Slightly more entertaining than watching paint dry.

I get the impression, having watched the whole of season 1, that, although not designated as a children (or youth) show, that its actually aimed at those who are less than adult. Having said that I mostly enjoyed the shows because I like…

Both the movies and the series are a combination of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and the 80's tv show Friday The 13th (having nothing to do with the Jason serial killer franchise) and/or the remake Warehouse 13. Yes, there is a little Indiana…

See this as a light-hearted, fanciful adventure comedy, not to be taken too seriously. As such it can be fluffy fun. It does get better as the episodes progress, but perhaps not enough for me to look for the next season.

Perhaps loosely based on Cogman's Library universe, but this is more like a Doctor Who wannabe in a live-action Scooby-Doo variant made by Disney or Joss Whedon without Cogman's permission. To start with, these 6 librarians (trio?) don't…

A fun fantasy. Light mindless and quirky stories. Need to go back for the original Librarian. Not the highest production and writing just a fun diversion.

yup.. five minutes into the 1st episode I had a feeling it was going to be a fast forward favorite. By 10 minutes into it, the DVD was back in the box. Silly script. corny acting.

This reminded me of a child's adventure cartoon, adapted for adults. The plot lines aren't very challenging because the Librarians have magic, which more often than not rescues them and the plot. If you're looking for something…

I wish I had watched this when it was on TV, but there was no time. I laughed, I jumped at bogymen, felt sad, and the I laughed some more. A fun romp if you like fairy tales, tall tales, and myth. A great ensemble cast with good chemistry.

Amateurish production of a cool concept. Acting and directing are terrible. Music scoring is dreadful. Stories are mostly lame. Not nearly as good as Warehouse 13. John Larroquette is fine and the only thing good about this show. Strictly…

I love this TNT series. The first year is good, and the subsequent seasons are even better. Who would have thought the young doctor from ER could do comedy so well? And John Larroquette, whom I haven't seen since "Boston Legal" -- I'd…

I thought I would actually like this since i work in a Library but I didn't. I don't care for this kind of situational humor.

I watched the 3 previous movies and quite enjoyed them. The Library has now recruited 4 others to help and protect the Librarian. The action is almost constant as the team works to capture lost relics. Matt Frewer (Max Headroom for those…

A quirky, interesting and sometimes funny series, The Librarians is for fans of Warehouse 13 or Eureka.

Noah Wyle played Flynn Carsen, same head librarian role as he did in "The Librarian 2004-2008" trilogy films. With the world became more complex, four helpers were recruited to tackle threats and restore order from supernatural forces.…
