Enjoyable to watch Helen Mirren and Anthony Hopkins as a married couple.
Worth it to watch this movie for that alone.
A bit of a whitewash of Hitchcock's stalking of his leading ladies but that is to be expected in a movie of this…

Saw this film years ago and it was very interesting. It's not necessarily an autobiography as the title would tell you, but instead it's about what happened during the filming of Psycho. We might think that making Psycho now would be…

Overall a decent movie about Alfred Hitchcock. Mirren and Hopkins are their wonderful selves. I have some issues with the Ed Gein visions however. The cast is solid, a decent watch overall.
This movie is a biography and a comedy about the making of director Alfred Hitchcock’s famous slasher film, Psycho. Most influencers in the movie industry of 1959 thought even the idea of an insane killer dressed up as his taxidermied…

Hitchcock held me attention just as his movies did for many audiences. The actor who played Hitch did a wonderful job. The voice, the speech patterns, the body shape, the body langurage was excellent. Dame Helen Mirren was excellent as…
HINT: This is a la-la land fantasy, not to in anyway be taken seriously. Example: In the famous/infamous Shower Scene, Janet Leigh and `Mother` were filmed at totally separate times, then edited together (Janet Leigh`s screams were all…

The _longest_ 98-minute movie ever made. Bad, bad script. Crummy dialogue. Stupid narrative structure, and fantasy scenes that are utterly implausible even on the level of fantasy. So... Hitchcock imagined that the serial killer Ed Gein…

This film only makes sense if you have seen the original “Psycho.” It was entertaining to see some of the techniques of making such a film, but you never really get much of an idea because so little of the actual greatness of “Psycho” is…

Pretty good flick about Alfred Hitchcock and his struggle to get "Psycho" onto the silver screen. Also gets into Hollywood infidelity and Janet leigh's struggle with her role a Norman Bates' 1st victim. Also, Helen Mirren turns in a great…

I was skeptical as to Hopkin's portraying such a notable character, but he did amazing... not just in body language, but somehow he managed to do the voice and pacing of the accent brilliantly. Cleverly delivered. This is the Hitchcock bio…

Solid acting by Hopkins/Mirren mostly wasted by the director who previously has done comedy (The Terminal). Who knows what the written script started out as? The main way this was ill-used was having it be too light. Maybe dir Sacha…

Love this movie. No action, no special effects, but just plain old-fashion good story telling. When i watched the movie, I saw Hitchcock, not Hopkins. Mirren was her usual superb self. Coudn't tell Biel was Miles. For the adrenaline…

Great acting all around but especially by Mirren. Being the backstory of the making of Psycho, the film was interesting. And the period look was pretty good. Solid entertainment.
