Craft Club: Open Machine Sewing

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Minneapolis Central

Description

For adults 18 and up. Use a sewing machine for 1 hour.

The class is open to eight participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up to use a sewing machine for 1 hour, either noon-1 or 1-2. One person per machine. Bring a project you are working on or start something new. Some assistance is provided but this is not a sewing class. If you are completely new to using a sewing machine, we can introduce you to the basics. Arrive a few minutes early to sign up for a spot. The program will run at the same time as the Minneapolis Central Craft Club program across the hall, so participants can work on a different crafting project if the sewing room is full. Materials provided.

Collaborator: Textile Center. This program is funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
