Events › Slam Book Grimoire: A Journaling Game For Teens

This 8-week program for teens introduces you to the “solo journaling game,” in which you develop a character and write a journal in that character’s voice. With three prompts to choose from (or use all of them!) a week based on the major arcana of the tarot, you will develop high school aged characters who identify as witchy, and write or draw about their high school lives. In addition to the weekly prompts which will guide you through the four years of high school, some summer break mini games will be included. Decorate your journals with washi tape and stickers. Sparkly gel pens will be available to write with and there will also be collage materials. At the end of the program, you will have the art journal you created as a memento! Sponsor: Friends of the Hennepin County Library.
