Join Literature and Writing faculty from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design to discuss Diane Wilson's novel "The Seed Keeper" on three afternoons in November. Publisher Milkweed Editions describes Wilson's book as a "haunting novel spanning several generations, 'The Seed Keeper' follows a Dakota family's struggle to preserve their way of life, and their sacrifices to protect what matters most. 'The Seed Keeper' is a beautifully told story of reawaking, of remembering our original relationship to the seeds and, through them, to our ancestors."
Attend any or all discussions – each will focus on a different theme of the book, as well as be open to the audience's topics of interest.
A limited supply of free book copies will be available at Hosmer Library leading up to the discussion events.
These programs are provided by the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and funded by the National Endowment for the Art's Big Read grant, in partnership with Arts Midwest.
