What can you do now to prepare for emergencies? Gain tips on dealing with hazards we are most likely to encounter in Minneapolis from City of Minneapolis Emergency Management Department staff. Learn more about topics like mindset, making a plan, emergency communication, the importance of homeowner’s/renter’s insurance, home essentials for sheltering in place, car preparedness kits, pet preparedness, and connecting with your community. This session will focus on preparations for older adults and hazards we might be more impacted by. Collaborator: Minneapolis Community Education.
