Youth and families. Join Dr. Talaya Tolefree for another Sankofa D.E.A.R. time challenge to Drop Everything And Read! Meet a different local Black author each month who will read from their book and share their creative writing experience to affirm, nurture and empower young readers.

Special guest author T. Mychael Rambo will read his book, "The Stories From My Grandmother's Hands," a children’s book that honors the wisdom, resilience, and healing practices of Black grandmothers, guiding children to embrace connection, culture, and embodiment of joy. There will be something for everyone as we engage through storytelling, culture, and art. Followed by an activity or craft. Materials provided.
