Events › Get Married at Minneapolis Central Library

Celebrate your love at the library! This free event, in celebration of National Library Week, will allow 10 couples to legally wed and enjoy a brief reception at the Minneapolis Central Library. 

Music, photo opportunities, and light refreshments will be provided. Each couple may bring up to 25 guests.

One (1) registration is required per couple.

For the event, couples will need to have:

• a valid marriage license
• a government issued ID
• 2 witnesses (age 16 or over)

Whatever draws you in, the library has something for everyone.

If you miss this opportunity, Hennepin County Service Centers are here for you. You can schedule an appointment for a brief civil ceremony at any of Hennepin County's seven Service Center locations for $45.
