Curator Talk – Exhale: Reflections on Guaranteed Income

1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Minneapolis Central

Description

Join us for a curatorial talk about the Cargill Gallery exhibit "Exhale: Reflections on Guaranteed Income." The Emerging Curator Institute's guest curators will share their vision of the exhibit and how they interpreted the artwork from the Guaranteed Income artists.

This exhibit features a collection of works from participating artists in Springboard for the Arts’ Guaranteed Income program and the “Artists Respond: People, Place, and Prosperity” narrative change cohort members. The artists reflect on the potential impact of Guaranteed Income on their communities, livelihood, and creative practice. What emerges are themes of joy, breath, and care. This program is funded with money from Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

The "Exhale: Reflections on Guaranteed Income" exhibit will be on display October 10-November 23 in Cargill Gallery on the second floor of Minneapolis Central Library.
