Events › Nature in Your Neighborhood: Plant Power

You don't have to leave your neighborhood to explore nature! Join a Refuge Ranger to learn all about plants. We will explore the science of plants, discover what is growing in our neighborhood, and get some seeds ready to plant around where you live! Activities are geared toward elementary-aged students, but all are welcome. Come dressed for the weather and outdoor exploration. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants earn a stamp for each Nature in Your Neighborhood program they attend. Receive a free backpack (one per family) with items like binoculars and insect jars once you collect three stamps.
