Kwanzaa Stories and Craft With Auntie Beverly

Description

Gather friends and family to hear Kwanzaa stories told by Auntie Beverly. After the stories, join her in making a Kwanzaa craft. Materials provided. We will be celebrating the third day of Kwanzaa which honors Ujima (collective work and responsibility). Ujima encourages us to be collaborative as we make our community a better place. Everyone is welcome to this in-person event! 

Auntie Beverly (Ms. Cottman) has been telling Kwanzaa stories at Sumner Library for many years. She is a member of the Black Storytellers Alliance, an educator, writer and dancer.

Note: A live virtual Kwanzaa Stories With Auntie Beverly will be held December 30, 2:30-3:15 p.m. Registration is required.
