The African American Community and the COVID-19 Pandemic

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Description

Since May of 2020, it has been reported widely and repeatedly by the media that African Americans are the largest group of people affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, the media has often not shared information regarding what the African American community can do to manage and protect themselves against this highly contagious and deadly virus. To provide the African American community with more specific information on the COVID-19 Pandemic, physicians from the Minnesota Association of Black Physicians will share insights on this topic. A Q&A period will follow the discussion. Hosted by Minnesota’s Black Community Project.

The link to the live online discussion will be emailed to registrants in advance.
