This event takes place at the Linden Hills Park Building. Why does Minnesota suffer some of the worst racial disparities in the nation? Learn about the spread of racist, restrictive real estate covenants in the early 20th century in "Jim Crow of the North," a film based on the Mapping Prejudice research project. Following the film, film producer Daniel Pierce Bergin and Mapping Prejudice project director Kirsten Delegard will participate in a panel discussion. A traveling exhibit “Displaced” will be on display prior to the screening at 6 p.m. Sponsor: Friends of the Linden Hills Library.
