Artists will read scenes from "Cry It Out" by Molly Smith Metzler. This funny, topical play tells the story of two women of very different financial backgrounds who bond over the experience of having newborn babies. Issues addressed include being a stay-at-home parent, female friendship, going back to work, and the effect class has on parenthood. A local childcare professional will facilitate a conversation about how important contemporary issues can be addressed through thought-provoking live theater. Collaborator: Yellow Tree Theatre.
