Weather permitting, join professional astronomers to safely view the solar eclipse. (NEVER look directly at the sun!)

11-11:45 a.m.: STEM activities with library staff.

11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: View the partial eclipse outside with special telescopes or a pair of special eclipse-viewing glasses provided by the library (supplies are limited). Additional activities will be available during the event. Drop in or stay for the entire event. Bring your own chair, water, sunscreen, bug spray and snack. Collaborator: Bell Museum + Planetarium.

Start of partial eclipse: 11:43 a.m. Maximum eclipse: 1:06 p.m. End of partial eclipse: 2:28 p.m.
